Pardot requires users to use their unsubscribe or Pardot preference center tokens in all emails sent out. This includes your FeedOtter emails with Pardot.
FeedOtter has tokens that will automatically place the default Pardot tokens in your emails, including the default Pardot preference center and unsubscribe tokens. If you are using a custom preference center, you'll need to manually add this token into your FeedOtter emails.
First, login to your Pardot account.
Click the Wand icon in the top right corner. Then, go to Emails > Preferences Page.
Here, you'll see all of the Pardot Preference Centers you've previously set up. Click on the preference center you would like in your FeedOtter email.
View the link associated with your preference center. At the end of the URL is a three-digit ID which will be used in the Pardot token in FeedOtter.
Pardot has many tokens to be used in emails. Here's a list of the default Pardot tokens we use in FeedOtter emails.
The Pardot token will also be dependent on if you're using the Pardot legacy tokens or Pardot 2020+ tokens in your emails. Check out this article to know which Pardot tokens you're using in your emails.
If you're using Pardot Legacy tokens, the email preference center token will look like this:
The three numbers at the end will be replaced with the ID on your Pardot preference center.
If you're using the new Pardot 2020+ tokens, the email preference center token will look like this:

Now that you have your Pardot token, you can update all of your email campaigns via the Code window.
Login to your FeedOtter account and click Edit Campaign.
Then click the Code tab in the bottom-left corner of your screen.
Search for the unsubscribe or email preference center at the bottom of your email.
Here, replace the FeedOtter token in the href column with your Pardot preference center token.
Next, you'll need to update the token on the Text Version of the email. Click Text Version at the bottom of the Code window, and replace the unsubscribe token.
Click Save.
