Marketo - Access Denied, No Folders, Programs, Channels or Tags Show Up

Cause:

  • If the user has setup their Marketo connection and it appears valid from the Integrations page BUT Channels/Tags/Folders/Programs do not show up in the publish/activate UI screens it likely means Marketo is saying Access Denied.

Resolution:

Customer Response Process:

  • Once you have confirmed the above situation by looking at the customer's account.  Ask them to recheck their permissions and send a screenshot of their Marketing Activities tree to verify Workspace settings.
  • If nothing conclusive, schedule a call to review all settings manually.  Try giving ALL api permissions in Marketo, does this help?
